As of July 6, 2022, the project is under construction. The content team is working to obtain the general contractor information. The City of Cedar Park requests Proposals for 3rd party inspection / observation services for the Holy Cross Coptic Orthodox Church Subdivision Improvements Project. Project Scope will included 3rd party inspection / observation services for the construction of Holy Cross Drive and utility extensions. Holy Cross Drive is the south leg of the Brushy Creek Road and Vista Ridge Boulevard intersection in Cedar Park, Texas. The proposed private road will be built to urban street standards for flexible pavement section, laydown curb, and sidewalk. The road is approximately 700 feet in length and includes a CapMetro railroad crossing, detention and water quality facilities, signal modification, striping, lighting and landscaping. In addition to the road, the project also includes construction of public water and wastewater extensions to the proposed church site. Specific Construction Phase Services for which we are requesting proposals for are daily inspection / observation, review of quality assurance testing, identification of deficiencies and design conflicts, and coordination with design engineers, contractor's representatives and project managers. A contractor hired by the developer and not the city will construct the project. All work performed in CapMetro Railroad right-of-way will be performed by CapMetro contractors, or contractors approved by CapMetro who have completed rail safety training.
