As of April 12, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on their May meeting. Owners Contract No.: FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP CONTRACT 1 Work shall consist of the following: the supply of all labor, tools, material, equipment, services and appurtenances to accomplish the removal and proper disposal of asbestos containing materials and suspect hazardous materials. The work shall be performed to the complete satisfaction of the Owner in accordance with all current Federal, State and Local Government regulations. The work includes three (3) properties. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Project Rates are included in this project and govern all work under the contract. Proposals must be submitted upon the forms furnished by the Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Franklin Township. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the owner with 100% Performance and Labor and Materials Bonds. Bids may be held by Owner for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding of the contract.
