The Proposal Form shall be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of 10% (ten percent) of the Total Bid for one year, but not more than $20,000.00. Appropriately checked literature must accompany each copy of the Proposal Form. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 34-11 - 56.25 regulating wages on Public Works, Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Contract Compliance and Equal Employment Opportunities in Public Contract and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Disclosure of Ownership). The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids due to any defects or for not adhering to the Specifications or for any reason or to waive informalities and accept any bid that in its judgment will be in the best interest of the City of East Orange. The City Council reserves the right to sever and make awards of all or parts of any bids to one or more bidders.
