Notice to Consultants Request for Qualifications Study & Survey Services In accordance with Chapter 39.80 RCW, East Valley School District, (EVSD), is seeking architectural consultant services for a pre-planning study/analysis of options for enrollment growth accommodation and facilities expansion at elementary grade levels, (and other grade levels if the need emerges over the course of the analysis). The primary goal is to study/analyze facility expansion options and the consequent impacts for student housing, (both near-term and long-term), educational and extra-curricular outcomes, overall project costs, tax impacts, land acquisition needs, potential time/schedule scenarios and other feasibility consequences for consideration by EVSD. All questions regarding this application should be directed by email to Neale Rasmussen, rasmussenn@evsd.org Services are to include production of a Study & Survey in accordance with WAC 392-341-025. Ultimately these services may lead to a bond measure and capital construction program to execute the findings for the pre-planning study. As such, EVSD reserves the right to continue with the selected architectural team to design the project(s) that are recommended by the pre-planning study and put forth for construction in a bond election. This latter option would be exercised at EVSD's sole discretion if EVSD determines that such continuation with the selected architect is in its best interests. Applicant architectural firms shall submit Statement of Qualifications consisting of a letter of interest, (maximum 2 pages, single-sided), and relevant experience, (maximum 15 pages, single-sided), including both personnel proposed, resumes and backgrounds and representative planning and/or school projects which are potentially relevant and applicable to EVSD's circumstances. Proposing firms shall have at least one Building Condition Assessment certified consultant on their staff. EVSD will review the submittal materials and reserves the right to conduct discussions/interviews with applicant firms with the goal of selecting the firm it deems most highly qualified.
