**As of June 22, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $47,765.99.** Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Borough Of Ocean Gate in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 of the amount bid. The Borough Of Ocean Gate reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the Borough Of Ocean Gate . In general, the work on this project consists of raised lintel replacement and installation of an exterior coiling service door at the Ocean Gate Firehouse owned by the Borough of Ocean Gate located in Ocean County, New Jersey as detailed in these specifications. Project location: 33 E Arverne Ave, Ocean Gate, NJ 08740 The base bid work on this project consists of the following: 1. Remove and dispose of one overhead garage door, including tracks, mounting hardware, motor, controls, wood jambs, and all appurtenances. 2. Provide temporary shoring for the existing structure. Sawcut and remove the concrete lintel over one garage door opening, as well as masonry block and exterior stucco coating up to wood sill plate for second floor framing. 3. Furnish and install a new steel lintel across the raised opening in the exterior building face, including field welded connections to steel bearing plates anchored into fully grouted cells on each side of the opening. 4. Furnish and install one new overhead coiling service door on the exterior face of the building, including anchorage, exterior rated enclosure, motor connection, controls, rails and all appurtenances. 5. Remove and replace flashing and siding at second floor gable wall above the garage door opening as required to complete overhead coiling service door installation. 6. Remove and relocate existing light fixture and electrical conduits at the exterior gable wall above the garage door opening as indicated in the project documents. 7. Restore damaged masonry joints and units with non-shrink grout. Furnish and install new metal lath and stucco coating in front of the new lintel at the exterior face of the building to match existing stucco coating. 8. Clean and paint all restored areas, to match existing finishes. 9. All work not specifically listed in a bid form pay item shall be incorporated into the lump sum/unit pay items listed.
