The Project consists of constructing a new duplex sewer lift station and 6,700 LF of 6" force main, that includes, but not limited to: packaged pump system and enclosure, concrete wet well, yard piping, electrical service, grading, fencing, asphalt drive, instrumentation and controls, and miscellaneous items necessary for successful completion of the project. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. This project is partially funded with funds provided by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). ARC requirements and provisions must be met by the Bidder and all subcontractors. Davis Bacon wage rates (as determined by the Department of Labor) must be paid for all construction projects in accordance with Section 402 of the Appalachian Regional Development Act of 1965, as amended. Compliance with the American Iron and Steel Requirements is a requirement of this contract. The Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities therein.
