Site work for a water / sewer project in Charleston, South Carolina. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Cooper-Jackson Drainage Improvements. This project is for improvements to the drainage system within the Cooper Street/Jackson Street Watershed and is set into three phases. Overall improvements will include enlarging existing pipes, slope adjustments, installing new parallel pipes, small stormwater best management practices and potentially a new pump station. This project is in included in the City of Charleston FY 2024 - 2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of July 29, 2025, this project is halfway through design. A design team has been identified, and bidding for contractor will take place in approximately one year. A firm construction timeline has not been established yet.
