The Oconee County Board of Commissioners are soliciting bids from Contractors interested in the demolition of two (2) junior tennis courts and the construction of four (4) multi-use courts at Herman C. Michael Park located at 1051 Elder Road, Bishop, GA 30621. QUESTIONS regarding this ITB shall be received no later than 5:00 PM on April 15, 2022. ANSWERS will be provided via addenda no later than 5:00 PM on April 20, 2022. The Consent of Surety shall state that upon award of the Agreement, a Performance and Payment Bond each for one hundred percent (100%) of the Total Agreement Amount can be furnished. If required, each bidder must deposit with his bid a Bid Bond or Certified Check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, and a Consent of Surety form from a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the OWNER. No bid will be rejected without just cause. The county reserves the right to reject any bid from any bidder that the county considers not properly qualified to carry out agreement obligations or able to satisfactorily complete the work on schedule This policy shall be strictly enforced and the county reserves the right to reject the submittal of any vendor violating this provision.
