In general, the work is comprised of public works construction including mobilization, traffic control, best management practices, Type I RPMS Slurry Seal with 3% Latex, crack sealing, protecting utility covers and monuments, pavement striping, markings, markers, and other miscellaneous improvements as shown on the plans and as required to complete the work. Any proposal not accompanied by such a guarantee will not be considered. Successful bidder will be required to submit Bonds (Faithful Performance and Material and Labor), Construction Schedule, Traffic Control Plan and Water Pollution Control Plan. The City reserves the right after opening bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality (non-responsiveness) in a bid, or to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, and reject all other bids, as it may best serve the interest of the City.
