The bidder shall use unit pricing. The method of payment shall be from current operating funds. Performance and payment bonds are required. This bid opening will be mandatory. The outside of the sealed envelope shall be plainly marked as follows: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NUMBER 2022-MSARR ROOF REPAIR/REPLACEMENT SERVICES The Commissioners Court shall have the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any informality as may be deemed in the best interest of Goliad County. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of the work is to manufacture/install a standing seam roof system with new wall panel, flashing, gutter, downspouts, and trim, as required of approximately 3,588 square feet. The roof panels should have a zinc, aluminum, and silicon finish to prevent oxidation, and should be continuous in length from eave to ridge, eliminating panel and laps. oRoof panel shall be 24-gauge steel with a zinc-aluminum-silicon finish - 16" wide with 2"-high major rib corrugation. oRoof pitch shall be 12":12" oPurlins and verticals shall meet engineer' design specifications. oWall panel shall be 24-gauge steel with painted finish o6"x6"x24-gauge gutter, with a painted finish, shall be installed o3 1/2"x4" downspouts, painted to match gutter and splashblocks, shall be installed o24-gauge trim and other flashing, with a painted finish, shall be installed oRoof jacks, rain caps, and pipe extensions shall be installed WARRANTY A 20-year warranty for the finish and water-tightness shall be provided
