SCOPE OF WORK: A. GENERAL (1) The vendor shall furnish, deliver, and install the following items. o Industrial Dishwasher per attached Specifications (Attachment F) o Vendor will be responsible for removal and disposal of old dishwasher o New dishwasher must be able to use existing utility hookup/connection (cold domestic water supply, electrical, ventilation, and drainage) o Current Panel (2) breakers (480, 3 phases, one for Main Dishwasher and one for booster heaters) will also need to be replaced to accommodate lower amps of the new machine. o Preventative Maintenance/Service Agreement (2) Dishwasher Features Required: o Variable speed conveyer o Digital display and controls o Common drain and plumbing connections o Auto delime system o Auto fill o Start/Stop switches on both ends of machine o Electric booster heaters o Stainless steel frame, legs and panels. o Low temperature alarm o Flight Type o Shock arrestor and pressure reducing valve kit o Pre-Wash temperature control (3) Delivery: Vendor shall arrange delivery to the Christopher Newport University campus, 1 Avenue of the Arts, Newport News, VA 23606. David Student Union Loading Dock. Delivery must be arranged with Christopher Newport University Contact 5 Business Days before delivery and installation. A Certificate of Insurance must be provided before the installation can take place. B. RESPONSIBILITIES OF CONTRACTOR CREST FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT CO **As of June 10, 2022, project was awarded to CREST FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT but awarded amount is not available.** 1. Pictured I.D. badges shall be worn at all times while on University property. 2. Contractor's employees appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall not be permitted on University premises. 3. No loud, boisterous or rude conduct shall be permitted. 4. Contractor's employees shall not use University telephones or computers at any time. 5. There shall be no smoking inside any University buildings or roofs. 6. Unauthorized Personnel: The Contractor's employees are not to be accompanied in their work areas or on the premises by acquaintances, family members, or any other person unless said person is an authorized contractor employee performing work under the contract. 7. Contractor is responsible for all safety and environmental compliance. Any spills (e.g. oil, coolant, etc.) shall be reported immediately, and cleaned up to the satisfaction of CNU and any regulatory agencies at no expense to the University.
