The Project provides for the construction of repairs of the primary clarifier at AFWRF, an existing water reclamation facility located in Little Rock, AR. The project consists of concrete crack repair, concrete corrosion resistant coating and other miscellaneous work thereto at AFWRF. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure compliance with the official solicitation and all addenda as posted on the AR Bid website. Vendor shall not alter, withdraw, or resubmit bid response within 60 calendar days after bid opening date. Contractor's Bid must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum Bid Price, payable without recourse to the LRWRA, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract and execute Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond upon the forms provided in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. LRWRA shall have the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities or defects in bids. LRWRA encourages disadvantaged, minority, small, and woman owned business enterprises to submit a bid in response to this solicitation.
