PURPOSE The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified sources to enter into a contract to provide pavement services for James Madison University (JMU), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Initial contract shall be for one (1) year with an option to renew for 4 additional one-year periods. II. BACKGROUND James Madison University is a comprehensive university in Harrisonburg, Virginia, that is part of the statewide system of public higher education in the Commonwealth. JMU's current enrollment is approximately 22,000 full and part-time students. The university employs approximately 4,000 faculty and staff. This project is part of ongoing efforts to increase the quality of life for students, guests, faculty, and staff of James Madison University.
