Site work for a civil project in Sandersville, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Principal items of work are as follows: 1. Interior and exterior preparation and coating of 250,000-gallon elevated storage tank. 2. Cleaning and disinfecting the interior of the tank. 3. Miscellaneous tank repairs. 4. Valve insertions on various water mains in the Town. The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein Liquidated damages will be assessed in the amount of $500 for each consecutive calendar day the work has not achieved Final Completion. Bidder must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors establishing his classification as to the value and type of construction on which he is authorized to bid. Each Bidder shall write his Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal. The Engineer is Neel-Schaffer, Inc., 328 N. Magnolia Street, Laurel, Mississippi, 39440; Phone No. (601) 649-1840, Fax No. (601) 649-1848. The Town of Sandersville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
