Site work and paving for a civil project in Excelsior Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
1.53 mi of hot mix asphalt base crushing, shaping and resurfacing, signing and pavement markings on County Road 571 from M-72 to north of Wagonschutz Road, Kalkaska County. This project will be constructed with an innovative contracting method, Fixed Price-Variable Scope, to extend the project limits to include a maximum of 0.51 mi to the north to County Road 612. This is a Local Agency project. Control Sec Job No Federal No STL 40000 212984A 22A0335 Net classification required for this project is 608 Cb In addition to the above minimum prequalification requirement for prime contractors this project includes a subclassification of Ea. If the prime contractor is not prequalified in this subclassification it must use a prequalified subcontractor. This subcontractor must be designated prior to award of the contract to the confirmed low bidder.
