This work called for in these Bid Documents includes the removal and disposal of the existing cooling tower and related facilities for McMillan Middle School and replacement with a new closed circuit cooling tower furnished and installed by the successful bidder. Bids are to be completed on the bid form contained in the Bid Documents. A copy of the bid with original signatures by the bidder, including all required information, attachments and exhibits, and including a bid bond prepared and submitted as required in Section 1.2, are to be submitted to the District in accordance with the requirements of the Bid Documents Any questions or request for interpretation of these Bid Documents should be emailed to: questions_clarifications_1@ops.org An original certified check or cashier's check payable to the Board of Education or a satisfactory original Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A notice to proceed will not be issued prior to execution of the Contract between the District and the Contractor, and in any event, not prior to JUNE 21, 2022. Substantial Completion of the Work shall be achieved not later than JANUARY 15,2023. Final Completion shall be achieved not later than thirty (30) days after Substantial Completion is achieved. Questions regarding the Bid Documents, including the Plans and Specifications, and the bid procedures and requirements must be submitted by email on or before 2:00 P.M. CST on Monday, May 2, 2022.
