Specifically, the work entails the construction of a 2,036 foot floodwall and a segment of levee that will extend approximately 2,472 feet north from Broadway along the western edge of Compton Creek marsh to the Raritan/Sandy Hook Bay shoreline dune. In addition, the applicant proposes to elevate a 600 foot long section of Port Monmouth Road, a pump station, two drainage outlet structures, a drainage culvert and a drainage system comprised of a swale pipe and culvert along Braindard Avenue. The contractor shall begin performance within five calendar days and complete the project within 570 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. The scope of work will include, but not be limited to: Division 01 - General Requirements Division 02 - Existing Conditions Division 03 - Concrete Division 04 - Masonry Division 05 - Metals Division 06 - Wood, Plastics, And Composites Division 07 - Thermal and Moisture Protection Division 08 - Openings Division 09 - Finishes Division 10 - Specialties Division 13 - Special Construction Division 22 - Plumbing Division 23 - Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Division 25 - Integrated Automation Division 26 - Electrical Division 28 - Electronic Safety and Security Division 31 - Earthwork Division 32 - Exterior Improvements Division 33 - Utilities Division 35 - Waterway and Marine Construction Division 40 - Process Interconnections Subcontractors at all tiers are encouraged to promote the training and employment of U.S. veterans while performing under a USACE contract. While no set-aside, evaluation preference, or incentive applies to the solicitation or performance under the resultant contract, USACE contractors are encouraged to seek out highly qualified veterans to perform services under this contract. Buy American Act applies on this project. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
