Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Saint-Jerome, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 10,500-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; educational facility; and for the addition of a 65,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.
First phase of the program of expansion and renovations to the College facilities. The scope of the project includes the construction of a new structure that will be linked to the existing building and renovation of the existing buildings on the Saint-Jérôme campus. This major project is planned over the next few years and is due to the expected growth of the current number of students from 4,500 to approximately 6,000 in 2029-2030. The CSTJ needs approximately 10,600 square meters (115,000 square feet) to meet its long-term needs. The project will be LEED certified. TIMELINE: Preparation of the project is underway at the owner. According to the official information published on the site of the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat this project is "under study". The awarded professional consultants have submitted to the owner the established functional and technical program and concept of the project. Scope of work, value and timelines of development of the project are being finalized. Further update in early to spring 2026. Note: Project is included in the Quebec Treasure Board list of projects with a value equal or exceeding $50M.
