The City of Salisbury is soliciting formal bids for Kincaid Road Water and Sewer Work (Bid #010-2022). Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. For technical questions regarding this project, please submit questions in writing to Ashley Webb at ashley.webb@salisburync.gov for response to all by addendum. End of Question Period is 5:00 PM, April 7, 2022 Scope of work: It is the intent of this Invitation for Bids to establish a vendor to provide labor and equipment for the following items: Connect, test, and put into service a 2" PEX water main (to be installed by directional drill by SRU); install (40) 3/4 " water services, relocate fire hydrant, abandon 13 water connections, install 62 LF of 8" gravity sewer extension with manhole, make 40 sewer connections, and abandon four sewer connections. All water and sewer materials to be provided by SRU. Asphalt and stone for bedding, backfill, and pavement repairs shall be provided by the contractor. All work is to be completed within 90 days from the notice to proceed.
