This project will rehabilitate the pavement on Del Mar Avenue at this location. This project consists of constructing a rubberized asphalt concrete pavement overlay, repairing failed pavement (base repair), cold planing the pavement to accommodate the overlay, adjusting manholes to grade, removing and replacing broken concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk, installing ADA-compliant curb ramps, replacing traffic signal loop detectors, and replacing pavement markings. Project will be coordinated with an SCE Utility Undergrounding Project at Del Mar and Valley, and the developments at 101 West and 101 East Valley Blvd. The project is included in the City of San Gabriel's FY 2021-2022 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Per the owner, as of April 6, 2022, a design team has been selected. The owner states that a general contractor has not yet been selected and that construction is anticipated to begin in September 2022. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
