Bid Specifications Price per mile 20 feet wide, single seal coating of hard surface roads. (AGGREGATE TO BE PRICED WITH 3/8" FRACTURED / WASHED PEA STONE, WITH THE OPTION TO PRICE WITH 3/8" DARK WASHED GRANITE STONE) Contractor must furnish PG 58-28 with 5% Cutback Liquid Asphalt, furnished by and blended at a State of Wisconsin and AASHTO* certified liquid asphalt production facility, proportioned with a certified scale and power mixer blended to specifications, heated to 350 degrees and applied. Copies of the asphalt tanker slips delivered for this contract, with properly marked I.D. and dates, are to be given to the Town Board Chairperson, a Town Board Supervisor, or the Town Maintenance Supervisor within 3 working days. List each road length and width, total cost of each road, and specify its proper surface treatments. Contractor to furnish, haul, place, and price 3/8-inch fractured/washed pea stone, with the option to use 3/8-inch dark washed granite stone. Aggregate must be a 3/8-inch fractured/washed pea stone, with the option to use 3/8-inch dark washed granite stone. Contractor must provide aggregate sample before project can be awarded, if asked by the township. Contractor to furnish all machinery, labor, and other necessary incidentals in order to properly clean, seal coat, and roll various town roads. The Town of Baraboo reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid determined to be most advantageous to the town.
