Bids will not be accepted electronically. Bids shall be in sealed envelopes with a notation BID PROPOSAL FOR THE WEST FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP ROAD MILL & FILL/LEVELING COURSE PROJECT. Mailed bids should be in double envelopes with the inside envelope labeled with the bid project. The Project is as follows: This work consists of approximately 4,680 S.Y. Mill & Fill and provide and place 25mm Base Repair including traffic control on various township roads. All amounts are more or less. Bid securities shall accompany each bid submitted in the form of a certified check, bank cashiercheck or bid bond executed by an acceptable surety company in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid. Contract provides for liquidated damages at the rate of $250.00 per calendar day. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance payment and maintenance bonds issued by a surety company satisfactory to the Township. All bidders are responsible and required to become familiar with the road conditions for the road which is a part of this proposal. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act including amendments and supplements thereto is in effect for this Project. All bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening. West Fallowfield Township reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in or to reject any or all bids or parts thereof.
