Renovation of a power facility in Cougar, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Public Utility District No. 1 of Cowlitz County (Cowlitz PUD) is seeking bids to replace the roof at the Swift No. 2 Powerhouse located at 18000 Lewis River Rd. in Cougar, Washington. Any bidder may withdraw their bid either in person or by written request at any time prior to the time set for the bid opening. Cowlitz PUD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all parts of any bid received; to reject the bid of any bidder who, in the sole judgment of Cowlitz PUD, may not perform work acceptable to Cowlitz PUD; and to waive any irregularities in the bids. The Contractor shall provide labor, material, tools, and equipment necessary to remove/dispose of the existing roof and replace the roof down to the structural deck of Cowlitz PUD's 8,100 square foot metal structured Powerhouse building located at 18000 Lewis River Rd, in Cougar, Washington. Work shall be performed as described in the Swift No. 2 Powerhouse Roof Replacement Specifications and Drawings. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required permits. Contractor will also be required to provide advance notice of the work schedule so Cowlitz PUD can coordinate de-energizing of the distribution and transmission lines to create a safe work zone.
