2022 Pine Tree Park Upgrades - 4675295

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Interested bidders must obtain their own set of bid documents directly from the issuing office in order to be an eligible bidder. This project includes replacement & extension of park paths, installation of new drainage, and all site work & restoration involved to upgrade the infrastructure of Pine Tree Park. All Proposals must be in the hands of Ms. Stacey Graf, P.E., Director of Engineering, Municipality of Bethel Park, 5100 West Library Avenue, Bethel Park, PA 15102, by 10:00 A.M. prevailing time, April 19, 2022. Prevailing wage rates will be required to be paid on this project. The Proposals must be made to Municipality of Bethel Park, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and shall remain firm for a period of sixty days (60). No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the specified time period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. The Municipality of Bethel Park reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein. CONTRACT A: This bid involves the replacement & extension of park paths within Pine Tree Park with new asphalt. Includes removal and disposal of existing asphalt, excavation and installation of geotextile fabric, stone subbase, 19.0 mm Superpave binder course, 9.5 mm Superpave wearing course, installing new removable steel bollards, site prep, traffic control, resident notification, clean up, and restoration. B. CONTRACT B: This bid involves the removal of the existing asphalt park paths within Pine Tree Park and replacement with flexible porous pavement such as "PerkEpave" or an approved equal. Includes removal and disposal of existing asphalt, excavation and installation of geotextile fabric, stone subbase, porous flexible pavement, underdrain installation, installing new removable steel bollards, site prep, traffic control, resident notification, clean up, and restoration.
