PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contract 1 includes: Approximately 0.10 miles of road reconstruction including 400 ton HMA roadway, 520 ft concrete curb, 4,150 sft sidewalk, 440 ft sanitary sewer, and 285 ft 12-15 inch storm sewer. Contract 2 includes: Approximately 16,000 syd micro-surface and single Chip Seal. Contract 3 includes: Approximately 3,000 sft of misc sidewalk construction. Contract 4 includes: Approximately 1,500 syd of parking lot reconstruction including HMA parking lot, concrete curb, sidewalk, earth excavation, storm sewer, and pavement markings. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Owner understands that cost savings may be realized by allowing the Contractor to bid on contracts as a combined bid. The Bid Form therefore includes a field identified as 'Multi-Contract Discounts' should the Contractor elect to provide a discount if awarded multiple Contracts. Bidder shall identify which combination it is bidding for by filling in the correct option. Individual contract pricing must also be included on the Bid Form. Bidders may submit a Bid on any individual section or any combination of sections, as set forth in the Bid Form. Submission of a Bid on any section signifies Bidder's willingness to enter into a Contract for that section alone at the price offered. If Bidder submits Bids on individual sections and a Bid based on a combination of those sections, such combined Bid need not be the sum of the Bids on the individual sections. Bidders offering a Bid on one or more sections must be capable of completing the Work covered by those sections within the time period stated in the Agreement. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete on or before November 15, 2022, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before June 15, 2023. However, for purposes of these contracts, the following applies: The selected Contractor(s) may desire flexibility on the actual start date in order to schedule this work into its remaining workload. The Owner recognizes that the best possible bid prices may be obtained by allowing this flexibility. Therefore, the selected Contractor(s) is/are allowed to commence construction at a date of their choosing provided that, once work commences, it shall be completed with a full work force without gaps in activity. DEPOSIT: 5% of bid amount
