Project is located on: 1) City of Duluth land - west and south of Duluth M542 (Sundby Road), north and east of US Hwy 53, and east of St. Louis County CSAH 91 (Haines Rd), and 2) MN Department of Transportation right-of-way - west of Haines Rd. Electronic bids shall be submitted via Quest CDN Bid Management System. The South St. Louis Soil and Water Conservation District (hereinafter, the "Funding Agency") is soliciting Bids for the Miller Creek Stream Restoration Project (hereinafter, the "Project"), which includes: Restoration of approximately 5,400 feet of Miller Creek which is currently ditched. Work will include channel excavation and re-alignment, temporary stream diversion, wood structure installation and floodplain revegetation. An Alternate Bid is also being sought to restore approximately 1,350 feet of ditched Miller Tributary 1 stream channel. The Project is being constructed on property almost entirely owned by the City of Duluth. The upstream extent of the project is on MN Department of Transportation Right-of-Way. This Project is made possible by grants provided by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the United States Forest Service, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The Funding Agency will be the main point of contact for contracting-related questions. To be considered a Plan-holder for construction bids, a contractor must register on QuestCDN. Registering as a Plan-holder is recommended for all prime contractors and subcontractors because Plan-holders will receive addendums and other contract document updates via Quest CDN.
