As of March 15, 2024, the City Council rejected the bid from William Brothers Construction of Peoria, IL in the amount of $15,320.00. The project includes construction of new raw water and treated water pump stations, including construction of new reinforced concrete structures and modification and rehabilitation of existing structures; furnishing and installing vertical turbine pumps, piping, chemical feed pumps, electrical switchgear and electrical control systems, chemical storage tanks and appurtenances; demolition of existing structures; filling and grading the site; construction of pavements; and associated work.
