Site work for a mixed-use development in Dyer, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of June 10, 2022, project was awarded to Dyer Construction Company, Inc, awarded amount is $1,856,309.78.** The scope of the project includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the Hart Ditch 2-Stage Improvement project within the Town of Dyer as follows: The project includes clearing and brushing, excavation, various types of bank stabilization of the streambank to create a 2-stage ditch, storm sewer adjustments, manhole adjustments, installation of SESC measures, culvert/underdrain installation and extensions, aggregate access road construction, sidewalk construction, berm grading, J-hook vane and rock cross vane construction in the ditch, maintenance of traffic and other work necessary to meet the plans and specifications for the project. Some layout/surveying will be necessary for the work and should be included within the bid price. It is important to the Town the work be conducted in a timely, organized and sequential manner. The successful bidder must be prepared to commit adequate resources to complete the Work within the stated contract timeframe. Contractors should be pre-qualified with the Indiana Public Works Certification Board prior to starting work on any local public works project. All other questions after this meeting shall be sent in writing to Christopher. B. Burke Engineering, Ltd., 9575 W Higgins Road, Suite 600, Rosemont, Illinois 60018 by mail or email to Thomas T. Burke, PE at tburke@cbbel.com and Joe Wilk at jwilk@cbbel.com. Questions shall be received no later than 5:00 PM (Central) on April 15, 2022. Responses will be provided by no later than 3:00 PM (Central) on April 16, 2022 (as necessary). Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions submitted. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Project name marked clearly on the outside. Bids shall be executed and submitted on the forms provided by the Town including a Bid security, Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, Bid forms, Affirmative Action Statement, Non-Collusion Affidavit, E-Verify Documentation, Iran Investments Certificates, pre-qualification with the Indiana Public Works Certification Board, and a preliminary project schedule. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Town of Dyer, or bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Price shall be submitted with the Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish, execute and deliver to the Town of Dyer satisfactory performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Bid Price to guarantee the faithful performance of the Work and payment of suppliers and subcontractors within fifteen (15) days of the Notice of Award.
