Bid Bond is not required. For all Proposals which exceed $25,000.00, Payment Bonds, or for Proposals exceeding $100,000 Payment and Performance Bonds, in amounts not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price will be required of the Contractor in a Surety of his selection duly authorized to do business in the State of Texas and acceptable to Owner. For additional requirements for Performance and Payment bonds, refer to the General and Supplementary Conditions. Time of Completion of the Work is of importance to the Owner and will be considered in the award of the Contract. The Contractor shall state on the Proposal Form the number of calendar days he will require to substantially complete the project. No Proposal may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of Proposals without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any irregularity in the proposals and in the proposal process not involving price, time or changes in the work. Proposals shall include furnishing all labor, materials, services, equipment and appliances and performing all operations necessary to complete the work as set forth in the Drawings and Specifications.
