Site work for a water / sewer project in Dallas, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work includes the installation of approximately 7,150 linear feet of 8" DIP water main, 12 fire hydrant assemblies with valves, 8 gate valves, approximately 120 linear feet of 16" steel casing installed by jack & bore method, connections to existing water mains, fittings, water service lines and appurtenances, water meters, asphalt pavement patching, installation and maintenance of erosion control measures, traffic control, permanent grassing and other related work. The contractor will furnish all materials, with the exception of the water meters, and perform all work associated with the project. The last day for questions from bidders is April 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must be able to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond within ten days of Notice of Award. These bonds must be in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount. Paulding County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities, technicalities, and informalities.
