Webster County, KY has issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the following project: City of Providence Sidewalks Bids will be tabulated and referred to the Webster County Fiscal Court for recommendation of award. The Fiscal Court reserves the right to reject any, and all proposals and waive any informalities.. Attention of interested Bidders is called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with all E.E.O. requirements, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Copeland Act and Presidential Executive Orders 11246, 11063 and 11375. No Bidder may withdraw his/her proposal within (60) days after the actual date of the Bid opening. For bids to be accepted, bidders must submit the entire proposal (all pages). Bidders and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises ("DBE") subcontractors must be prequalified with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and possess a Certificate of Eligibility at the time of the bid opening. All other subcontractors must be prequalified when accepting subcontracts. The bidder certifies that ii has secured participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises ("DBE") in the amount of 3% percent of the total value of this contract.
