The University of Texas at Austin (Owner) is soliciting proposals (Proposals) for the selection of a Construction Manager-at-Risk on Project No. CP 864848 (Project), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Proposals (RFP). The Construction Cost Limitation (CCL) for the Project is $3,750,000. Fees, furnishings, equipment, other work, miscellaneous expenses, and cost of enabling subprojects not included in the CCL comprise the Preliminary Project Cost (PPC). Question Deadline: April 15, 2022 The typical life of a MRI is ten years and it is time to replace the Skyra MRI with a new Siemens 3T Prisma MRI. This project will result in partial demolition and put back in NHB that will allow a pathway for the Skyra to be removed and the Prima to be installed. A study was performed and found the best pathway was to open up the patio on the first floor and lower the new unit in place. Siemens will be responsible for removal of the existing Skyra MRI and installation of the Prisma MRI. The CMR will coordinate with Siemens on the removal and installation of the MRI's.
