The Village will assume the submission of the quotation means the company has familiarized itself with all conditions, requirements and specifications, and intends to comply with them unless specifically noted otherwise in writing. The contract is a three-year term for Landscaping Services for Village Hall and Eton Park. The contract will commence upon Village Board approval of the bid and work anticipated to begin April 25, 2022. This includes spring cleanup in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and fall cleanup in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Lawns shall be mowed a minimum of once per week for each location at an appropriate height and kept a neat appearance from April through October. At no time shall more than 1/2 of the height of the turf be removed at any mowing. Considering the topography, the Contractor is required to use the proper mowing equipment to provide a high-quality cut and minimize the occurrence of un-necessaiy scalping due to uneven terrain. The Village unequivocally reserves the sole right to reject any and all quotations; waive formalities, technical deficiencies and irregularities; solicit new quotations; or otherwise solicit quotations if some other manner of negotiation better serves its interests. The Village's decision shall be final and shall not be subject to recourse by any person, firm or corporation. The Village reserves the right to cancel this contract without cause at any time in the duration of the life of the contract. The Village shall provide written notification to the contractor thi1iy (30) calendar days prior to cancellation.
