The Scope of the Work Ensure the site is safe at all times, for the workers, and people living at the home. Remove existing deck structure (rails, beams, boards) and dispose Install deck, rail, ramp as per drawings and addendum. Grade site around the deck/ramp when completed Provide washroom facilities for workers and hand sanitization station during construction and remove when complete Ensure site is tidy each day, at the end of the day. DeafBlind Ontario Services provides an array of services to people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, non-verbal and deafblind that are customized to each individual's unique needs, method of communication, and goals to enrich their life. DeafBlind Ontario Services is considered a Broader Public Sector (BPS) organization and therefore must ensure its procurement practices comply with the Broader Public Sector Procurement Directive (BPSPD). Potential Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, or other representatives of DeafBlind Ontario Services, other than the Contract Administrator concerning matters regarding this RFP. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proposal and the rejection of the proposal. We have a building permit for this project already issued. This is a B3 Group Home, the plans show extreme building, due to the home classification. We understand that the plans are way more than what we need, however, we need to follow them due to the use of the building. Throughout the two-year construction warranty period, The Contractor shall, if requested support and assist Deafblind Ontario Services in identifying or resolving deficiencies, as well as the remedial and corrective work that are or could become items for correction under warranty provision. Insurance During construction of the project, the successful proponent shall carry: (1) Commercial general liability coverage of not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury, death, and damage to property including loss of use thereof. Such insurance shall be in the name of the contractor and name Deafblind Ontario Services as the first loss payee (2) Motor vehicle liability insurance in respect to owned or leased licensed motor vehicles subject to a limit of not less than $2,000,000 inclusive per occurrence for bodily injury, death, and damage to property including loss of use thereof. Value Range 1,000,001 ~ 10,000,000$ *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
