Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
**As of June 15, 2022, this project has been awarded to Dutchman Contracting, LLC and the awarded amount is $160,355.80** The City of Reading is seeking a qualified contractor to provide repairs to the Egelman's Park Large Pavilion. The Pavilion main roof and apron roof is to be replaced with metal roofing, repairs made to wood roof decking where necessary, repairs made to vertical apron support poles and bases, as well as repairs to the interior wood flooring. Additional quotes will be solicited and added for updating the paint as well as improvements to the walkway around the apron in concrete or asphalt if pricing allows. Each proposal shall be accompanied by bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. A certified check or bid bond will be accepted. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing wage rates must be paid by the contractor and that employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex or national origin. The City of Reading reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid, as may be in the public interest. Clarification Deadline 4/19/2022 3:00 Pm
