Project awarded to Specialty Roofing & Coatings, Inc. $658,000 The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for retrofit the existing metal building's 300 ft. x 500 ft. roof with thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) mechanically attached roofing system, including minor demolition of roof attachments, flute fillers, cover board, fasteners, flashing, trim, renovation of roof drainage system, new gutters, downspouts, miscellaneous reconstruction, repair, and incidentals required for a complete, functional, and warranted roofing system. The Project will be funded by Local Funds. Payment for the Work will be made on the basis of Contractor's periodic Applications-for-Payment processed by the Engineer. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or other security authorized by law, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids, during which time the bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technicalities or informalities. If an award is made, the award will be made to the responsible and responsive Bidder whose Total Base Bid plus selected alternatives is lowest.
