Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Edna, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
As of July 11, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The Project location is in the LNRA's park off State Hwy. 111, 7 miles East of the City of Edna. The work generally consists of the placement of sheet pile to aide in the removal of one (1) plated, corrugated metal bridge class culvert measuring approximately 26' x 15.5' x 100' including sloped ends and the replacement of the bridge class culvert with a 48' x 28.2' single span concrete bridge, to be constructed in place by the Contractor. The demolition and construction shall commence December 1, 2022 and shall be substantially complete,ready for vehicle traffic, no later than March 1, 2023. The deadline to ask questions is 5/02/2022 5:00 PM CST Questions due 4/22/22 but will answer questions up to the final response to questions on 4/29/22 Board approval at 5/18/22 meeting Estimate: $1.3 - $1.4 Million *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
