**As of 5/19/2022 There has been no award for this project. The City of Allentown is seeking proposals from qualified vendors that provide 24-hour chemical clean-up and hauling services to assist the City in collecting and removing chemicals from City-owned properties, streets, sewers and waterways, City facilities and in emergencies, private property. The City of Allentown is responsible for emergency response and containment of chemical releases in the community. In some situations' the City of Allentown will require assistance from the contractor to clean up the site and remove hazardous waste. The contractor is expected to supply properly trained and certified workers to handle any situation involving hazardous materials. Applicable Bid Security must be mailed and delivered prior to the Bid opening, in a clearly marked envelope with the bid number listed in this document, to the Purchasing Department. Questions regarding electronic submissions are welcome via email through Purchasing.Agent@allentownpa.gov.
