North Arlington Board of Education will be receiving sealed proposals at the board offices located at 222 Ridge Road, North Arlington, New Jersey 07031 for Veterans Middle School - Drainage Improvement Project. All vendors must use and complete all forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Proposals are to be marked in a sealed envelope and delivered to the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary, Samantha Dembowski, with the title of the Request for Proposals, "Veterans Middle School Drainage Improvement Project," plainly marked on the front of the envelope. The vendor must have a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, and no vendor who is on the State Treasurer's or the Federal Government's List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Vendors shall be eligible to submit a proposal. Vendors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., "The Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1. et seq. Proposals must be submitted to the North Arlington Board of Education no later than Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. If sent by mail, the proposal should be clearly marked as "Proposal for Veterans Middle School - Drainage Improvement Project." The proposals should be addressed to the Board at 222 Ridge Road, North Arlington, New Jersey 07031. The North Arlington Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any informality in the Request for Proposals process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Board of Education. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the vendor who submits the most advantageous proposal, price and other factors considered. No proposal shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Board of Education.
