Description: The work for which bids are asked includes the following:
PROJECT A - 3rd Ave / Monroe St / Pine St and Maple St Reconstruction
Utility Construction:
o Approximately 3,350 lineal feet of PVC water main (6-inch to 10-inch) including valves, hydrants, leads and water services.
o Approximately 2,400 lineal feet of (8-inch to 10-inch) PVC sanitary sewer including manholes and service laterals.
o Approximately 3,765 lineal feet of HDPE storm sewer (12-inch to 30-inch) including inlets and manholes.
Roadway and Other Associated Work:
o Approximately 2,920 lineal feet of roadway reconstruction including new SAS fabric, select crushed, underdrain, base course, HMA paving, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, and grading.
o Tree removal, grubbing, excavation, turf restoration. PROJECT B - 3rd Ave Water Service Reconfiguration Water Service Construction:
o Approximately 50 lineal feet of copper water service (1-inch) including building penetrations and connections to new meters and interior plumbing. PROJECT C - 4th Ave Sanitary Sewer Utility Construction:
o Approximately 160 lineal feet of (8-inch) PVC sanitary sewer including manholes and service laterals.
The anticipated substantial completion date is October 7, 2022 and final completion date is October 31, 2022.
if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Chad Grundemann, 146 North Central Avenue, Suite 201, Marshfield, WI 54449. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on Project A shall be in accordance with Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. Federal wage rates can be found at Website. Be aware that project Administrators, Bidders, and Contractors are required to use the latest federal wage rate available at the time of bid opening. Project A anticipates the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funding. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246.
