The Electric Power Board of Chattanooga ("EPB") will receive bids from individuals, businesses, companies, contractors, sellers, and venders ("Bidder(s)") who are qualified as required by this invitation for bid in sealed envelopes for the requested products and/or services as defined in this invitation for bid until the date and time shown above, at which time the bids will be opened. If this invitation for bid is for contracting services as defined in Tenn. Code Ann. 62-6-101, then this invitation for bid is issued in accordance with Tenn. Code Ann. 62-6-101 et seq. and Bidders must mark all bids with the following information on the outside of the envelope and included in the bid according to Tenn. Code Ann. 62-6-119: 1) EPB bid reference number 2) Bidder name 3) (If applicable) State contractor license number and expiration date 4) (If applicable) License classification of the prime contractor and all first-tier subcontractors (i.e., electrical, plumbing, etc.) 5) Earliest start date EPB further reserves the option to award more than one contracts based on EPB's assessment of its needs and the Bidders' qualifications. All questions must be submitted to EPB Purchasing no later than Friday, April 22, 2022 by 2:00 pm EDT. EPB shall not be obligated to respond to questions submitted after the stated deadline. Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent of the Contract Sum EPB reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any and all informalities and/or irregularities in the bid, to negotiate and/or renegotiate with any Bidder the terms of its bid, and to accept any bid which in EPB's opinion may be in the best interest of EPB.
