A timeline for award has not yet been established yet The successful firm shall provide the services, materials, equipment, and personnel required to complete the Structural Stabilization and Exterior Preservation of Historic Brattonsville's Col. Bratton and Homestead Houses. The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following, but is not limited to: A. Brick and stone masonry restoration, B. exterior rough and finish carpentry, C. wood shake roofing on the Col. Bratton House, D. sheet metal roofing on the Homestead House, E. sheet metal flashing and trim, F. historic wood window restoration, G. historic wood door restoration, H. painting the exterior of both the Col. Bratton and Homestead Houses NOTE: lead paint is to be encapsulated, not abated, and I. limited electrical work. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: Simultaneously with his delivery of the executed Contract to the OWNER, an Offeror to whom a Contract has been awarded must deliver to the OWNER executed Performance and Indemnity and Payment Bonds on the prescribed forms each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Contract Amount, as security for the faithful performance of the Contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor or furnishing materials in connection therewith. The Performance and Indemnity and Payment Bonds shall have as the surety thereon only such surety company or companies as are authorized to write bonds of such character and amount under the laws of the State of South Carolina and with a resident agent in the County in which the project is located. The Attorney-in-Fact or other officer who signs the Performance and Indemnity and Payment Bonds for a surety company must file with such bonds a certified copy of his Power-of-Attorney authorizing him to do so.
