Renovation of a municipal facility in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This includes, but is not limited to: Removal and disposal of the roof membrane system down to the deck. Removal of all unused and redundant penetrations. Inspection and repair of any damaged deck surfaces. Installation of a new high performance membrane system with high performance insulation and vapour retarder. Installation of new membrane flashings ensuring complete coverage on vertical surfaces of parapets and high wall transitions. Installation of new metal flashings at perimeters and penetrations. Provision of the adequate membrane walkway protection and perimeter warning strips (control zone) as required. Painting of all existing metal surfaces within the scope of Work not being replaced as part of the Work, such as roof hatches, gas lines, corroded pipes, pipe caps, and goosenecks. Replacement of all existing skylight systems. Installation of a pre-engineered roof access ladder system. Installation of a WorkSafe BC / BC Building Code compliant guardrail. Removal of the existing Make-up Air Unit; Installation of the new Heat Pump Unit.
