Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District of Los Angeles County (SMMUSD) will receive sealed bids from contractors holding a type "B" license, on the following: Modular Village Relocation Project at Malibu Middle High School. This scope of work is estimated to be between $500,000.00 - $600,000.00 and includes relocation of (5) existing modular classroom units and (1) restroom unit from the former Juan Cabrillo Elementary School campus to two locations on the adjacent Malibu Middle High School campus and other associated improvements per bidding documents *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Work under this Contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, services and transportation, except as specifically excluded which is required for completion of Project in accordance with provisions of Contract Documents. Work to be included: 1. Bid Package #1, Phase 2 - Interim Modular Village/A it 03-121527 - Relocation of (4) Modular Classroom Units and (1) Modular Restroom Unit located at the former Juan Cabrillo Elementary School Campus to the lower Modular Village location at the adjacent MMHS campus indicated in the DSA approved contract documents. Including, connection of the above-referenced modular units to the existing Fire Alarm System and utilities. 2. Bid Package #2, Wellness Center Relocation/ A# 03-121916 - Relocation of (1) Modular Classroom Unit located at the former Juan Cabrillo Elementary School Campus to a location adjacent to the Upper Modular Village on the MMHS campus as indicated in the DSA approved contract documents. Including connection of the above-referenced modular unit to the existing Fire Alarm System and existing utilities. 3. Tenant Improvements to (1) existing Modular Classroom Unit, P4, located in the Upper Modular Village. Including all related site work. 4. Related Work - provide all preparation, patching, repairing, reinstallation, and clean up associated with this work to maitain a clear work site.
