Town of Carrabassett Valley Bid Specifications for "Spring Cleanup" of Town Facilities and Roads for 2022, 2023 and 2024 The Town of Carrabassett Valley is seeking bids for "Spring Clean-up" of Town facilities/roads as listed below for the 2022, 2023 and 2024 seasons. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in any bid received and to negotiate with the company/bidder deemed by Town officials to have provided the bid that is in the best interest of the Town. Based on cost considerations, the Town may elect to delete some of the work described below. The Bid Award will be based on price, past experience (references) and an assessment of the equipment proposed to be used for this work. Requirements and Bid Prices: 1. Rake, remove debris and repair all torn up lawn areas in the Town Office and playground areas: use existing sod as much as possible, provide additional loam and seed and provide "level" area for mowing. The "ballfield" is not included in this item. 2. Remove all sand from Town Parking Lot and Town Office Road 3. Remove all sand from paved Carriage Road from Rt.27 to the End of Pavement. 4. Remove all sand from paved section of driveway and parking area of the road to the Library and Anti-Gravity Center 5. Remove all sand from the paved road and parking area at the Transfer Station 6. Rake and remove all debris, leaves, etc., from the lawn area at the Campbell Field Parking Lot and also from the parking area to the Campbell Field Bridge Total Bid Price 2022: $______________. Insurance Requirements: Successful Bidder must show proof of Contractor's Liability Insurance with minimum coverage of $300,000 per occurrence/$600,000 aggregate and must also show proof of Workmen's Compensation Insurance if Contractor employs employees for this work.
