Completed plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; transportation facility; water / sewer project; water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and for paving for a water / sewer project.

All bids received after that time will be returned unopened. The project consists of construction of new drainage structures, new high mast lighting, aircraft and non-aircraft rated concrete pavements, installation of fencing, installation of civil utilities, installation of airfield markings, building demolition and relocation, and installation of the mechanical and electrical systems that comprise the completed wash rack station. The requirements of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation, apply to this contract. It is the policy of Mobile Airport Authority, to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin in the award or performance of this contract. All firms qualifying under this solicitation are encouraged to submit bids/proposals. Award of this contract will be conditioned upon satisfying the requirement of this bid specification. The bidder/offeror shall make good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A, 49 CFR Part 26 (Attachment 1), to meet the contract goal for DBE participation in the performance of this contract. This will be the only opportunity to visit the site prior to bid opening.
