Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Hamilton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Subject to the right of the Owner to reject any or all bids, the Owner will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best responsible bid(s).The award for this project will be determined based upon the lowest base bid. Alternates and Add Alternates will not be utilized in the determination of the apparent low bidder. A DBE goal of 5% will be used and a DBE utilization/form will be submitted electronically In general, the improvements for which bids are requested will consist of the following: Install sidewalks on each side of Van Hook Avenue from Hoadley Avenue to Hayes Avenue. Includes ADA compliant ramps, and pavement markings, signs and rectangular rapid flashing beacon. Curb, storm structures and drive aprons will be modified where necessary to accommodate sidewalk. All Bidders shall be prequalified by ODOT for the appropriate type of work. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best responsible bidder(s).
