Site work and paving for a road / highway in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed work on Paving Project No. 1 will consist of the milling and asphalt paving of approximately 4,954 feet of two lane roadway on Magnolia Court, Magnolia Blossom Drive, Freeman Road and Saltsman Road. Asphalt paving must be completed in a single pass without a centerline longitudinal joint or seam when feasible. The proposed work on Milling Project No. 1 will consist of the bituminous milling of approximately 46,808 square yards of various Township roads. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
