Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Rochester, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; library; and municipal facility.

The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this Contract.Building automation system (BAS) replacements in two buildings, a new supervisory energy management control system (EMCS), and integration of three existing buildings (including the two replacement BAS buildings) into the EMCS. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of Contract amount, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Bid security in the form of a bid bond shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
