On Call Owner Office Seymour District / Capital Program Mgmt Contract Type On Call Compensation Method Negotiated Labor Rate Two Step Scoring No Allowable Profit Rate 8.80% Plus Overhead Factor Is Federal Funding Involved Yes # of Firms to Select 4 The selected firm shall provide construction inspection services for the INDOT Seymour District as needs arise on construction contracts. Assignments may also be made to other districts with the consent of the consultant. INDOT anticipates needing Project Engineers/Supervisors and Inspectors during the course of this contract. INDOT may require from personnel winter season work, work for up to twelve (12) hours per day, or work at night. The Consultant's personnel shall work under Area Engineers, Project Engineers, or Project Supervisors provided by INDOT. INDOT will control the hours and staffing of personnel. The consultant shall furnish all construction field testing equipment necessary to sample and test materials in accordance with INDOT procedures. The consultant shall provide personnel local to the Seymour District such that lodging expenses will not be incurred for assigned locations within 50 miles of the district office. The Letter of Interest (LOI) must specify the names of the project engineers or project supervisors and inspectors who will be supplying the services for each of these contracts. Additionally, the LOI shall include a map showing the locations of these personnel to be utilized on the project(s). Personnel identified in the LOI who are not full time employees at the time of the LOI submittal shall be identified with explanation of employment status. The LOI must identify the personnel passing all six areas of the Certified Technician Program (CTP), unless the personnel is exempt, prior to being approved to work on any INDOT project. This applies to all personnel who will invoice time to this contract. INDOT will not reimburse any expense incurred in obtaining these certifications.
